When I hear that singers/celebs are coming out with fashion lines, I sometimes get irritated. Only because, if theyre a singer, theyre occupation should only consist of anything that involves singing and music. And, most singers/rappers/musicians only put their face to a brand and dont really care about fashion. However, there are a few celebs who have a love for fashion that is beyond buying clothes and one fashion line I am really starting to like is Mblem by Mandy Moore. Ive always been an admirer of Mandy Moore. When she first came into the pop scene in the late 90s, I was more into Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears than Mandy, but over the years, Ive grown to like her as a celeb. Shes young like me, she hasnt tried to copy another singers style, she just her own person. And, I really like her taste in fashion. Shes not too flashy or even too sexy, shes more cool and classy with just a pinch of sexy. Ive checked out her fashion line: Mblem by Mandy Moore. All the clothes from the dresses to blouses to jeans are something that I can see being in Mandys closet, and if I get a nice Christmas gift card, they might be in my closet too, LOL. Life and Style Magazine is reporting that DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) and Mandy Moore have broken up once again. In fact, the pair split several weeks ago but have been keeping the news out of the press.



They split up a couple of weeks ago but kept it kind of quiet. They tried to make it work but decided they make better friends than lovers.



The publication is reporting that Goldstein is now dating a 22-year-old model named Hayley Wood.

Miley Cyrus and her best friend Mandy Jiroux released another video from inside of Mileys gigantic walk-in closet.
They sang some songs to all of us and said that they cant wait for Christmas. They also wished all of us a happy New Year. More singing and kids stuff.
Mandy cut to a showcase for Atlantic Records for the Beach Girls. Then Miley was on stage and wished Mandy a happy birthday.

Mandy Moore had always ranked as my least disliked pop tart. Then she played that snob in but the thing that pissed me off was her slutty role in Because I Said So. Im married, so I have a good excuse for watching chick flicks against my will.
She was supposed to be all Oh, Im Christian and have morals and stuff and then she plays a love conflicted whore.
Never liked Duff. She always came off as a rather plain girl manufactured into a pop star. I know thats what she is, but she totally looks like it. It shouldnt be THAT obvious.
Mandys cute though, and still comes off as the least skanky of the group.

On Wednesday Kitson in L.A. held an event to fight cancer. Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff were celebrity hosts for the “Stand Up 2 Cancer” benefit. Instead of staying for entire event, both Duff and Moore tried to sneak out after arriving and fulfilling most of their hosting duties. Page Six had spies at the event and the participants were pissed when they saw the attempt to ditch.

I first started following Mandys style a few years ago, quite honestly, because she is tall (5). Being close to 6 myself,  I find that I must often follow a different fashion code than the average shopper, and it was nice to see a celebrity working with their height to such glamorous results. For years, after my super-spurt in the summer between eighth and ninth grade, I was very ashamed to be taller than my (male and female) classmates, and so I shirked from heels and began to slouch (much to the chagrin of my mom). Although I grew out of my discomfort with being tall, I still experience frustration occasionally with what seems like limited clothing options; I often begrudge that the world of shorter dresses and skirts, and many of the more interesting varieties of pants, are off-limits to me.
Mandy seems to share this feeling. In fact, she has recently started her own clothing line, Mblem, partly because of her frustrations out of finding clothes for her body type. In an interview with The Associated Press, she said she was always searching for the perfect jeans or t-shirt. While checking out recent photos of Mandy, it seems that she has mastered the art of layering that is so vital to any tall woman. Over the years, Ive learned to layer my casual dresses over skinny jeans or a tights and spandex short combination, and Ive learned that most fitted tees require a longer tank top underneath if I want to be dressed appropriately and keep away cool drafts.
I have slowly come to embrace my tallness, and I  realized that what at first appears limiting is actually an advantage. I look to Mandys style because she seems to understand and play up her strengths. She knows that she can always get away with carrying huge bags, wearing big chunky jewelry, and sporting over-sized glasses.

The UFC Fight for the Troops event raised more than $4 million for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and its new medical center to be built in Bethesda. In a recent news release, Bill White, President of the IFHF, said UFC and Spike TV should be applauded for their efforts.
We are profoundly grateful to the UFC and Spike TV for their extraordinary support of our nation's Wounded Warriors, White said. Their efforts have moved us that much closer to complete the traumatic brain injury center in Bethesda for the service members that are fighting for our freedom overseas.
According to the ratings, 2 million viewers watched the fight live on Spike TV and it was one of the most watched programs that night. So, how did this event come about?
Specifically, Arnold Fisher, vice chairman of the Fisher House, contacted Lorenzo Fetitta about raising money for the project (the two are old friends). But after talking with Dana White prior to the event, the seeds were planted even earlier.
A few years ago, they invited us to a hospital in Texas for troops who have lost limbs and have been badly burned, White said. I went down and met some troops and was [expletive deleted] blown away. It was the most significant thing I had ever done in my life. I brought Mandy Moore down there and every time she came out of a room from meeting the troops, she was crying her eyes out. It [expletive deleted] her up. She said, anytime you do this, dont hesitate to call me. We loved it, and got involved. When we heard they were building this new center, we jumped in and have done everything in our power to raise money because we know what worthy cause it is.
